Barbara J. Meade: An Artist's Introduction

As one of the most versatile artists of our time, Barbara J. Meade has been winning awards for her work ever since she was 16 years old. Today, those works span across several mediums, including:
  • Handmade paper
  • Printing
  • Pen & ink drawings
  • Watercolor, acrylic and oil painting
  • Soft sculpture
  • Woodwork
  • Ceramics
Her work has been accepted into numerous juried art shows and has been placed on display in several Wisconsin art galleries. Collections nationwide contain many of her prints, oil paintings and handmade paper designs.

Many of Barbara's creations have also been published in (and featured on the cover of) well-known magazines, such as Popular Woodworking and Woodwork. She also has had her own cartoon strip, Kristy and Ralf, appear as a regular feature in On the Rock magazine.
